Mom / Grandma Waara came for a last minute visit this weekend, and we had a great catch up. The weather has been HOT here since she arrived, and everything is in full bloom - azaleas, tulips, trees, etc. On Sunday we made an expedition to "check out" a puppy, and he came home with us! No, he won't be staying in DC - Mom is taking him back on her flight today. We hope that goes ok. He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He's yet to be named, but here's a blurry cell phone shot of him so you can get a glimpse. He's a little cutie and very, very sweet. Arlo has really enjoyed watching him and playing and the smile is huge on his face every time he catches a glimpse or plays. The kitties are slightly less enamoured.
