Day at the park

Magnus has a friend named Max who lives nearby. His mom, Noni, is Australian and a real hoot. Today we thought it good idea to go to the Bowie Baysox game, the AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. It turned out to be a great idea. It was a little cold and breezy, but we got seats out of the wind and took a blanket to put on the cold bleacher bench. The kids ate hot dogs, played with toy cars and looked around. Magnus loved the interlude music between batters and innings. One foul ball nearly took our heads off, it was pretty exciting. The game was a route by the home team, but interesting with lots hits and errors. The kids had a blast and the adults were able to enjoy the ellusive 11am beer. Noni remarked "Who says stay at home parents stay at home."
